Sous Poutine s’est achevé le processus de fusion du pouvoir avec la criminalité organisée. La dynamique expansionniste s’est intensifiée en se dotant du camouflage d’un messianisme idéologique. La Russie n’est un État qu’en apparence. En réalité, c’est un agrégat de bandes criminelles gravitant autour d’un parrain tout puissant. Françoise Thom’s latest analysis on DeskRussie was well received, as was « The second front: how Russia wants to undermine Western support for Ukraine ». Who benefits from the crime? Who benefits from the destabilisation of today’s world, if not Vladimir Putin and his supporters: China, Iran, North Korea, not forgetting Hamas, who want to establish a new world order? The Valdaï speech illustrates this desire to « destroy the international order to replace it with chaos » in order to « indulge in unrestrained depredations », as Françoise Thom puts it. Russia’s support for Hamas displayed by Putin and his propagandists is the latest illustration… As President Biden reminded us, in Ukraine as in Gaza, Putin is in charge. La dernière analyse de Françoise Thom diffusée sur DeskRussie a connu un certain retentissement, tout comme « le deuxième front : comment la Russie veut saper le soutien occidental à l’Ukraine ». A qui profite le crime ? A qui profite une déstabilisation du monde actuel sinon à Vladimir Poutine et à ses soutiens: la Chine, l’Iran, la Corée du Nord, sans oublier le Hamas pour instaurer un nouvel ordre mondial ? Le discours de Valdaï illustre cette volonté de « détruire l’ordre international pour instaurer à sa place le chaos » afin de « se livrer sans contrainte à des déprédations » comme le dit Françoise Thom. Le soutien de la Russie au Hamas affiché par Poutine et ses propagandistes en est la dernière illustration… Comme la rappelé le président Biden, en Ukraine comme à Gaza, Poutine est à la manœuvre. La frénésie de destruction et d’autodestruction qui s’est emparée du régime poutinien à partir de 2012 est un phénomène mystérieux, même à l’aune du comportement des dictatures. If there is one lesson that the Kremlin’s leaders have learned from what happened after February 24, 2022, it is that without the West and without Ukraine, Russia sinks into insignificance.
